Of course, assuming that the operating system has 64 Bit, otherwise the 16 GB are recognized. I have installed it in a Lenovo T520 and am very satisfied. Tests with Memtest86 + (Version 4.20) and other small tools found no errors. Thus, it is also compatible with it (at least with the T520er series), although Lenovo has the T520 ONLY specified with max 8GB. He runs, recognizes 16 GB and can therefore also proven to work. Maybe it was time to create the instructions in mind that there were no bars or 8GB DDR to were incompatible, but now it should be all ok.
He is stable and there was not yet a crash or the like. Enough memory is available in Windows is recognized without any problems, as well as in the BIOS and in certain applications.
Chill the laptop also runs faster, even if was upgraded only from 8 GB to 16 GB. He saves me two seconds at start-up, but that's really minimal noticing because anyway an SSD was installed.
I like it better when I buy brand memory, because in some OEMs may already occur some problems.
The goods come in a cardboard envelope of Amazon and one bar has been packed in a paper bubble envelope. Had a little more expected and hoped also that nothing had happened to it, but it turned out that everything was ok. It was so so very well handled.
I would buy it again and have so far not regret Corsair to remain faithful. People say that some Corsairs not want to cooperate with Lenovo, but I can at least say the T520 that this is not true.
He has also been detected in the system as CL9-9-9-24 with 1333 MHz with 8 GB.
