I have a part now since May 2012 (8 months) in daily use.
The switches are a bit limited, but still function properly.
On notebook Lenovo Ideapad Y570 with Win7 Home / 64
------------------------------------------------
The adapter depends on 1 USB3 port and connects
following components:
1 x USB 3 hard drive Core / CN Memory 1TB
1 x backlit keyboard from Logitech
1 Scanner Canon Lide 210
1 Printer Canon IP4700
The disk transfer rate read / write correspond USB3.
The somewhat garish glowing indicator light I with white tape
must dampen slightly.
Granted - the price is already really heavy - but there is currently nothing else,
if you want to have with disconnectable USB3 ports.
For this innovation, I forgive with a clear conscience 4 stars.
If there would be an additional "master switch" that turns off all at once,
I would give it 4.5 stars. 1 red light burns permanently.
Update 08/19/2013
-----------------
yesterday the part has suddenly given up the ghost. (After 1 year)
The port no longer light up - and end.
But it's still under warranty, and thus goes the part
tomorrow PEARL back. Would be nice if the manufacturer times
with the voltage problem would deal with USB3, as already
of a Vorrezensenten explains beautifully.
The components fit does not seem to meet the requirements!
So then - to the new!
I have cut down on the 3 star rating, unfortunately.
Update 09/04/2013
---------------
Today a brand new device from PEARL came with me!
Went really fix!
So the diagnosis was: No fault has occurred!
Hmmmm .... but I got a brand new anyway!
Super service from PEARL! For this you deserve now first 5 star!
Update 23.12.2013
-----------------
The newly delivered adapter is now available again (partially) back.
Of the 4 ports operate only in 3 USB3 mode.
1 port works only in USB2 mode when
I this USB3 USB2 hard drive via an additional adapter
connect. The speed of this disk
Now, of course, somewhat less. hmmmmm
