On my Windows 8 Medion computer 64-bit, Intel Core i7 2600 CPU 3.40 GHz and 12 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti, playing the various media files is going so well that I have PowerDVD now set to play all video files. Previously I had several players in action.
When playing Blu-ray, however I must say that the control in frame, or fast forward every now and then does not really matter what it is, or, you often have to click several times until the player reacts.
Since I Blu-rays make as ISO.Datei with SONY Vegas Pro 12 with selbstgefilmten material, I'm happy that this is happening PowerDVD directly from the hard drive when they were mounted by double-clicking in Windows Explorer.
Also, I feel that a lot more Blu-ray menus (from purchased BD) by the program now supports. Earlier menus were always alternative offered by the software, or not play at the disc only.
What bothers me a bit is that the program has now become "overloaded" with such additional functions that you quickly lose the overview of the possibilities. Primarily I need it for film playing, and not for to archive my entire media files. So I would an alternative product from the same manufacturer which has pure player functions, but would be more favorable, very welcome.
