Since about 3 weeks I use the D 700 and am absolutely delighted with the quality of the recordings. The resolution of the images and the up to high ISO areas virtually non-existent noise are absolutely worth mentioning. The fantastic color reproduction is probably unrivaled in this price range. By default, the D 700 delivers rich, yet natural-looking colors. The color settings can be unproblematic way, adapt, how to also adapt all kinds of other settings. The technical equipment is lush. Particularly successful and helpful for me is the artificial horizon, which was also umgestzt graphically excellent (there is a 2nd variant in which the indicators in the viewfinder can be eingestzt as artificial horizon). The processing of the camera appear very high. The D 700 is easy to grip and is comfortable to hold, the buttons are also suitable for larger fingers. The monitor is very big and shows an excellent reproduction quality, which is fpür an assessment of recordings in the field perfectly suited. Pleasant is the renunciation of scene modes. The list of positive features is almost endless, but there are also some criticism. When used by me D 700 the front dial is a little stiff, because too much into the handle. Perhaps a property which is limited to my copy. Generally open to criticism (and thus not limited to this particular model) seems to me the operation model of modern DSLs, which is strangely conservative. Why must the modern DSLs still look like conventional DSLs 20 years ago, and why do the buttons ud buttons be arranged similarly? That would be sure to make more ergonomic. All in all, the Nikon D 700 probably currently the best digital SLR camera in the semi-professional. Due to its combination of quality and handiness I would prefer the D 700 any professional camera.
