Founded in Antwerp in 1991 around Tom Barman, Stef Kamil Carlens and Klaas Janzoons Deus is a group of Belgian indie rock. Signed to Island, their first albums are marked by a taste for experimentation in all directions that does not displease Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart In 1999 the band signed his great work, with a third installment of great consistency and yet difficult to label, which starts on guitars Put the Freaks up Front and continues smoothly with Sister Dew and The Magic Hour, where the voice of Tom Barman is lined with a violin; many carved pieces and prepare the arrival of one of the masterpieces of independent music: the time to listen and accomplished the eponymous The Ideal Crash, here we are at the entrance of Instant Street where low soon and Battery will take everything, guitars and gradually increase tenfold rise higher, accelerating in the frenzy, the excitement of a sound dense until the final fall. Brutal! Fortunately, to get back there again the excellent Everybody's Weird and rhythmic at the Silver Apples.
