First, it is worth mentioning that most of the data refresh only every second. Anyone who thinks of finding smooth instruments in display mode, should leave it alone. I have the read on other sites before buying and was therefore not particularly surprising. The values shown, however, seem to agree, apart from the lack of real time times.
Also it happened frequently that the ads have suspended as soon as the engine in the overrun mode went (Driving an intersection). Then restart the engine was needed.
Since the Ecoroute fuel consumption determined apparently by the engine load and the specified consumption values (urban and extra-urban), here longer try and equalize is announced until the device also displays the actual consumption. However, it also appears to be a way of calibration, so I have not yet dealt me.
Very sad, I also think that the provided via OBD tachometer signal in tunnels can not be used. Garmin Thus could stand out from the competition. This would be really desirable, particularly when driving in a tunnel which has several exits and it accumulates there suddenly. This one reads even all, just wanted to also have mentioned again.
However, the biggest disappointment was the diagnostic options via the Ecoroute. This did not work with me.
I have with the engine running the plug taken from the mass air flow sensor, thus simulating a total failure of this emission-related component. My Corsa responded as expected, he went into the emergency and informed about the error lamp a malfunction. The Ecoroute interested but which in any way, this was supposed to automatically respond to it. However, even in manual calling of the diagnostic program NO CODES FOUND is displayed. In my view, a clear NO-GO for as a standard error!
Conclusion: A nice gimmick, but absolutely useless for me
(PS: I had ordered the thing at Conrad, and to send the now back again - a shame ...)
