No Sleep 'til Hammersmith (Audio CD)

Customer Review

MOTORHEAD exhibit at 1981 published LP (CD) in its full strength (Kilmister / Clarke / Taylor). In "No Sleep 'til Hammersmith" one can speak of a live CD, worthy of the name rightly. From the opening track "Ace of Spades" on you get the feeling to stand with appropriate volume, in the front row. The song selection is almost perfect. All neckbreaker like the opener "Ace of Spades" or "The Hammer", "No Class", "Overkill", "Iron Horse" and the fantastic "Motorhead" are smashed the fans in the face. The sound is, as befits a Motorhead concert, dirty, mushy and natural brutally hard. This CD in 2006 had its 25th anniversary ........... unbelievable.
If you want to know Motorhead, can start with this CD quietly. For fans it is always indispensable.
Conclusion: Motorhead have no need the fans constantly vorzusäuseln how hard and nasty they are. Motorhead live the rock 'n roll. Snapping !!
The 3 bonus tracks water down for me the original version, ignore.
Additional info: The recording has to my knowledge, funnily enough not (!!) in Hammersmith to London found instead. If, however, could not care less for me ........
