Disappointing blur

I bought this lens for my EOS 700D. My hope was wide shots that would exploit at least in some areas of the image 18MP my camera. Unfortunately, the shots were just as blurred as those of the kit lens of the EOS 1000D. Even the 10MP my 1000D I could not even begin to take advantage of this lens.
Both indoor as well as outdoor disappointing.

I will then buy me but probably the similar Canon lens. Unfortunately this is no longer before my vacation, since Amazon has now also for prime customers 2 instead of one day.

Conclusion: Disappointed by the sharpness of the lens and disappointed by Amazon.
