The action takes place in a week, events in rapid succession, the nights are short and the characters are not idle.
But I do not know why, this novel is not held me spellbound. Obviously heroin is perfect, it is she who calls the murderer even if we forgive him a blunder (with what ease also placed in police custody suspects). All the characters are human, the feelings are present between colleagues, between father and daughter / son. He even has small side stories to the story as a single father with a runaway son, almost hostage taking, a nascent romance, rivalry between sisters (and everything in a week!). It therefore loses in intensity ...
The murderer sows riddled clues literary references but the resolution takes for my taste, too few lines, I often feel a little bitter for not having entered the details of the plot afterwards. The character revealed at the end of the novel is not the image of him that I imagined while reading (I did not say he was not the one that I suspected).
