Some annotations, I just finished reading American death trip by James Ellroy. A small pad of 800 pages ... And I feel very sad that it's over ... I got used to all these colorful characters nor completely bad, but far from being good. Ellroy describes uncompromising in the rough and this is what makes the strength of the book. That's why I liked this book, engaging characters, full of twitching, horribly dark sides see black, very dark ... He's really down to it in the analysis of his heroes (anti -héros) and gives them an almost suffocating thick! Frankly, this is not the kind I'm used to read is ultra violent, but the violence of words is never free. This is the universe Ellroy and plunges to the last page, or is picked from the first. MJ.
