Have bought the mill, since I have otherwise grind coffee beans and cardamom. (For mocha preparation)
The result is indeed delicious, but a lot of work.
For fast times in between therefore should establish a favorable electrical mill.
As dramatic as the taste difference should not probably be, I thought to myself (I'm usually not so eh coffee Gourmet)
Then the Mahlversuch:
A reasonably homogeneous grinding results did not succeed. Until the last quartered coffee beans were granulated reasonably, the rest had been pulverized to nanoparticles. Okay, the first grinding tests should mainly serve for flavor neutralization, therefore eh first discarded.
When opening the lid the one hanging in the lock area powder crumbles still go elsewhere. Must be something to practice.
Second attempt: coffee grinder shaken and rotated during the process, thereby operates the Mahltaste pulsed manner.
Grinding result was thus reasonably acceptable.
Extraction of the ground material folded back only to 97%, the remaining 3% is inevitably on the countertop.
(Despite put upside down and tapping)
Regardless, mocha prepared as usual and the taste test.
What can I say, the usual round taste was replaced with a pungent end, bitter note. Absolutely no comparison to handgemörserten coffee. (I am, as I said not a gourmet, but the result was extremely clear)
Several experiments with different coffee beans brought the same sobering result.
Then the thing must indeed be cleaned again to have not yet rancid coffee oils next time with this.
Dry tried with brush. If still sticking what. Then tried with water - in the cover you get the water out of the double wall is no longer out, so also not a good idea.
Only effective cleaning possibility: a few tablespoons of sugar to icing sugar and ground discard. Thus one flooded from the coffee residues and remaining sugar residues does not necessarily remove it.
Overall, the machine is a complete failure, despite the low price. At best suitable for the production of powdered sugar.
