I bought this unit to connect my PS4 to my devil 5.1 sound system, as it only has analog inputs. This unit is all no problem, in addition depends on the AUX input of the converter nor a device with which I stream music. Unfortunately you have to press to change the source on the device itself a button. I had also not be able to claim to do this with remote control. Apart from the converter looks appealing and has a high quality finish. The sound quality makes me happy.

I have read a few criticisms / deficiencies in previous reviews, I want to examine this.
- I am not yet happened that the unit has automatically switched from 5.1 to 2.1.
- A mix of left and right on the issue, I can also notice
- The volume is at the output loud, I can not say that the converter the volume excessively reduced
- The jacks for the inputs and outputs are solid built, I can not press into housing with some force
- I have so far noticed no noise
