Hurdle one and two I have taken relatively quickly, but three hurdle was steep. Only the intensive research on Internet forums gave me the right track: After the software and drivers were installed from the supplied CD (and was sought on the manufacturers website for updates), the Tracker of the software has not been detected. In the Device Manager, he was in it, but did not help. When communicating with the software always came the message "Waiting for ...". The solution: The supplied USB cable was allowed to a) not be connected to a USB hub but directly to a USB output and b) the firewall needed to be inactive during the installation. Only the combination of a) and b) has worked. After that I could enable the firewall and running it since then. But alas, I stöpsle the thing into a different USB port, then nothing goes again.
Oh, and do not forget the time synchronization between the camera and tracker ...
Nevertheless, I am satisfied. The software complements the EXIF files of my SONY with the GPS data on the satellite images the route traveled is beautifully displayed. Cool. Now I know exactly where I photographed what car and about which pub they are the "Ye Grand Drinker".
