I am very happy with this part. One star deduction for the too short USB cable (1m)
1.5m should the USB cable already be long, my I have exchanged a 2m cable.
On the data-transfer rate, the longer USB cable has no influence.
When you copy a 3 GB file remains the rate more than 100 megabytes / sec.
The 3-speed fan and the LED light is within the normal range, the
final stage but is clearly audible. As the device only occasionally for a short period
is in use, it hardly bothers me.

I use the FANTEC QB-35US3-6G once a week for about 1 hour and there were
always all 4 hard drives detected.
What I lack is the single startup of certain hard drive.
Unfortunately, all hard disk will go to when you turn, even the ones I do not need.
