I had in my 25 years of work for so few gas soldering iron in hand. But no one has pleased me so well, like this one. The accessories I do not need - I can therefore not judge - only the function as a soldering iron. I use it almost exclusively to soldering of electric cables up to 4mm diameter. Small strands go quickly and easily - with larger dimensions, however, it takes a little. Guilt is certainly the round tip - I flattened my on the grinding wheel a little - now it fits perfectly.
There are certainly cheaper (gas) soldering iron. But with the Dremel it just goes without big to fret. I use gas from Zippo - so I'm always gone well. To date, I still had not once "refuel" - but think with a "full tank" and full throttle to get about half an hour by. I always need him just a few minutes. And wherever I have no electricity available (because I'm working just because around ...).
