It is the nightmare of every waterbed owner .. You wake up at night in a wet bed at ..
First considered one ... "Oh my God! Am I leaking !?" - It takes a few seconds to notice that it is the mattress, which is leaking. : D
I have long wondered and puzzled ... new bed ... New water chamber ... Repair ... Hmm ... was quite difficult.
Then I came across a YouTube video: [......]
This manual has encouraged me to take it into their own hands because:
"What should happen? The water chamber is anyway over .."
So I ordered the set and made all the arrangements.
Likewise, I've made of wood and Styrodur a similar structure built as described in the video and found me a suitable ball.
Everything went prepared it already happening.
Cut out the old nozzle with scissors round and tight around the neck, placed the ball directly under the valve, dried the edge under the vinyl, placed under the new socket, and then started with the adhesive to be repealed under the vinyl.
When it was all done, I have placed my adventurous, self-built construction around the neck and put me about 20 minutes on it (to move without the ball under).
Then I have the structure (or construct: D?) Taken down and glued to the safety ring and then put me about 20th
All done, it looked a bit unsightly with small waves in vinyl, etc., but that's fairly unimportant.
It is important that the mattress since about 1.5 years is tight and leaked no water!
Small lack of delivery. The screw cap has been shown in the picture taken in delivery lacking .. Have ado the old closure of the fit luckily.
