I bought the Linksys WAP300N since my WLAN coverage was not given specifically on the top floor and in the garden. As described in reviews, the decor is really easy, but extremely slow because after each small change the device restarts. The surface of the menu is also really oldschool. First I tried to use the device as a wireless repeater, then I wanted to send it back again. Somehow my device suddenly appeared several times in the router with connected devices and the entire wireless network was extremely slow. I decided then to use as the access point mode and behold, it works and really very good. There are five stars from me because of the access point, unlike other devices has a good reach and more importantly, is very stable. I can say that because I use a program on your computer that does not forgive the smallest dropouts Internet connection. The Access Point has been running for some time without any problem in continuous operation.
Facts: - Old school menu - Simple, but very slow to set up - Repeater mode gave me problems, maybe it was the router - Access Point mode is running super stable with no dropouts - Good to excellent coverage - 2.4GHz or 5GHz, not radios simultaneously but was not maintained - Very chic and simple design - Very easy - Wall mounting easily possible
