Drake does what he does best: the combination of an ingenious flow and excellent vocals. Consistently he succeeds perfectly and it can be incredibly fun and at the same time reassuring by listening such a quiet rap album. You should be warned: Do not expect Banger, but if you look at the beats (usually 40, Drakes long-time friend and First Choice Producer, produced) gets involved, it can really be a special musical enjoyment. Drake manages to create an uncommon atmosphere with its songs (especially the construction of the tracks: quiet early, late baseline and the gain in speed), which in today's music falls mostly under the table, because it comes to party hits and mainstream success.
Lyrically, he moves back to a very honest, soulful and possibly private area and therefore at a high level. Especially because you just have to listen and are really stories that may have already experienced a lot of people themselves.
Although I have always wished that he again some tracks à la "Over" or "Forever" unpacks because he just comes there to bear brilliant, a very good piece of music, it is still what he lies back. And the fact that he spent a lot of time for the board, shows the accuracy with which he is going to realize its such good potential almost completely.
I can only recommend to hear the part time with good headphones go in peace (eg train ride) or at night while driving, thinking it is simply the best over what he wanted to convey;)
