1. A Nighmare To Remember
A hard erstwhile into the album, there is a double bass and keyboards that somehow remind me of Cradle Of Filth or Dimmu Borgir. Actually exactly my cup of tea, then sets Master Labrie and erinner myself a bit of Metallica light. Then there is quiet, acoustic guitars employ, the song rises by dan resume driving. What I villeicht to this song not quite where compelling think are the attempts by Mister Portnoy to be angry but I can see over it, all in all 5 out of 5 points.
2.A Rite Of Passage
The first single and also not so complex as the opener. The slightly lighter structure does the song is very good because it is equally favorable catchy. A very nice chorus and a good solo by guitar wizard. But what was not so gefählt this song the keyboard solo this time because I go in these strange sounds somehow nich. Sounds too abgespaced for me. But otherwise a really horny song. 5 of 5 points
3. Wither
The ballad of the album gefählt me very well, because of the beautiful vocals of Labrie. I find that Labrie also once again should be involved in the songwriting with but that's rather improbable. Well beautiful ballad with great guitar solo. 5 of 5 Pukten.
4. The Shattered Fortress
Completion of the AA series, and really very well done. I do not understand why many do not like this song, it's one of my favorite songs on the album. Although I must admit that he already has in some places a slight Medley weft. A fat crusher of everything brings together what belongs together. 5 of 5 points
5.The Best Of Times
From Portnoy to his recently deceased father of the song is really very nice. Rockt rather a little more reserved, but the beautiful melody makes up for it. A Song to dems are nothing to complain about. Anyone who has lost someone will be able to mifühlen very well here. 6. The Count Of Tuscany
The longest song of the album and also one of the absolute highlights. This band is wircklich so damn good on their instruments that you get sometimes to deal with the anxiety. Towards the end it gets quiet again dan up an acoustic guitar sounds and the song beautifully towards the end Carries. The vocal performance of Labrie is settled on this album very very positive in the Middle vocal range (I'm Not on this egg slicer vocals). 5 of 5 points.

Music not in between, here you have to sit down and listen to it so much going on. I am passionate about Black Clouds And Silver Linings and any demanding or Prog Metal pendant strain it. Hats Off
