The cup serves its purpose and the tea or coffee also remain long hot / warm.

My first experience was marred, however.
Poured 1. Hot tea
2. ceiling plan
3. thermo cup is only slightly warm
4. cover gets very hot
5. cover removed
6. Just wanted to drink tea and found out that the border is extremely hot, and almost burned my lips.

In my experience it is better to remove the lid and wait a moment. Then the edge is not quite as hot.
Nevertheless, a strong buy recommendation.
