Last year I then saw them at the Greenfield Festival - I was actually just walked out of curiosity to the stage and was expecting the usual teen-punk rigmarole ... but far from it! - Where they could easily swept me right at the Begin of the set. The energy, which is sprayed from the guys acting, extremely contagious UDN you can not go along unlike grinning broadly ... and even if you do not know the songs!
Then, when a month later this album came out, I was of course immediately at the start, and since then rotates the disk regularly doing laps in my car radio ... and I still have no plans to change this. ;)
Last week they were then for a small club concert in Basel, and again the energy was immediately noticeable. There was a great concert with a lot of Pogo, stage diving and crowd surfing ... and precisely what this band is perfect! On that point, the band not only on stage a nice impression, but also confirms this next stage, if you at the merch booth replaced with the guys a few words.
Those who like to hear the H-Blockx and a combination of these can present with Blink 182, knows about the direction in which it goes here. Lyrically often slippery is given with the guitars and the rap style duly gas, and also the "new" man on guitar and microphone lets (mainly in the choruses) its predecessor fallen easily into oblivion. In short, here everything fits together, and even if you like me actually "Harder" listening (Lamb Of God, System Of A Down, ramming + a, etc.) and "30" is already beyond, you can at ZEBRAHEAD romp.
So I can only agree with all other previous reviewers and wish ZEBRAHEAD that the well-deserved European success as soon as possible yet set!
And to all those who have never seen LIVE:
Keep your eyes open and go to the next gig ... it's worth!
