Solid pop album with individual vulnerabilities

I'm a big fan of Kelly Clarkson and own all their albums, so I was naturally doubly excited "All I Ever Wanted". The first time you hear I have to say that I was shocked: Almost not a single song is stuck in my ear. Of course I have the CD not give up, but they listened to a few times, and as is so often: In the meantime, there are almost no song that I do not like. ;-) But now here in detail:

My life would suck without you (5/5), I do not hook up (5/5) and Do not Let Me Stop You (5/5) are typical Kelly Clarkson Since U Been Gone alla Burner. Even If I Can not Have You (5/5) and The day we fell apart (5/5) belong to it, but all in all a bit dramatic.

So also Tip of My Tongue (5/5) and Impossible (5/5), drama are guaranteed, as we are used to from Behind These Hazel Eyes. Just great!

All I Ever Wanted (4/5) and Longshot (4/5), two mid-tempo numbers, both have the same "mistake". The verses are great, have that certain something, and then comes the chorus ... the only way dahinträllert.

Whyyawannabringmedown (4.5 / 5) is strongly reminiscent Hole, very rocky and rotznasig, per se a cool part, but unfortunately Kelly is sometimes not as authentic as Rockgöre over.

Ready (3.5 / 5) and I want you (3.5 / 5), I do not know really, I can not make friends with them. Ready to be "happy", has no real depth, and I want you has a strange melody.

And then we still come to the conclusion about the ballads Kelly Clarkson are typical. The best of them is probably Cry (5/5). A super dramatic text, a great voice, a great melody, better can hardly be a ballad! Top! Also Save You (4/5) is a beautiful ballad, but not as dramatic. From the 2nd verse also the drums sound a bit strange, it does not fit somehow to the beat. And then we have already gone (3/5) and If No One Will Listen (3/5), which unfortunately have the typical characteristic of ballads: slow, quiet, sad text, and just plain boring.

The bonus DVD I find quite nice, as you can see behind the scenes here sometimes and hear from Kelly herself as for her album and we find how it all originated. When you insert the CD into your computer, you can still übrignes unlock access to Extras, which will probably inspire a very fan. In addition, the booklet is very nicely done and all the lyrics are printed, it must be said sometimes. ;-)

All in all, I find that all I ever wanted is a solid pop album with some weak points. It does not sound quite as personal as My December, which may be because they did not co-written all the songs himself. But as a conclusion we can say that it has been done well, and that I all those who like pop music, this album can warmly recommend. :-)
