I'm not quite sure if I like the CD is 100%. Sia further changes so that the direction of mainstream pop, even if your voice is great and remains. So far, however, I do not have to if necessary. On "Chandelier", the "bang" on this CD, the earwig This looks ... mainstreamiger, any, no longer stands out from the crowd so much produce as your "quieter" songs in collaboration with Zero-Seven, or rather idiosyncratic (but beautiful!) Songs on "Some People Have Real Problems" or "Colour The Small One". I'm not sure if I like this way already "We Are Born" was not so much my cup of tea. For this, I would have probably withdrawn no star, no change is called "deterioration", especially since I have heard the album only 2 times. What the 2 star cost, is the recording quality of the CD. Sorry, Sia fans, but that must be pure flow in the evaluation: The CD is "too loud," added, clipping some songs. "Overdriven", so the saying goes. This occurred to me only on my home system on quality (Denon / Denon / Nubert), then I have it on PC one more time followed with an analysis program: All Songs clipped (even if you do not hear it out in all songs).
Addendum of 01/24/2015: Okay, earwigs now available: Chandelier and Elastic Heart I hear now up and down. Am almost inclined to add one star more, there were half stars, I would do it. But the rest of the album I still find, in a friendly sense, getting used to ... pop-shallow.
Addendum of 02/15/2015: There he is, the 4th star. The more I listen to this album, the better I like it. "Destiny" and "Distractions" I had only ever skipped on the Zero7 CD until I became aware of Sia by "Breathe Me" Due to the ultra-brilliant "TV is my Parent" (DVD-recommendation !!!!) concert at the Hiro Ballroom were also only two for only the earwig.
