Is it the awaited savior of pop music?

After first hearing this debut album of my hitherto completely unknown Scottish singer me of came spontaneously redemption feelings. Yes, you heard it right! I am absolutely delighted with Alex Hepburn, her distinctive voice, her artistic appealing lyrics and the melodies. The album sounds like a mixture of pop and French chanson with a pinch of Pink! and the voice of Janis Joplin. Such a thing no longer existed really long time. Alex Hepburn has the chance to be the next big number to be "the next big thing" of popular music. Her voice exudes a sex appeal and artistic expression, the currently world's unequaled and has been in the recent past, probably obtained only by Fergie, the singer of the Black Eyed Peas. Pop music is a rather monotonous and boring mass event today. The music business is largely democratized. Everything depends of the mass taste. Almost all record label set therefore, the same songwriters and producers, especially on people like Dr. Luke and Max Martin that this unquestionably horrendous successful, but always the same-sounding, standardized "bubblegum sound" produce (Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson). "The Swedes" to the console and the CEOs in the corporate headquarters are the inspiration for a drastic "flattening" of the international pop music, for a "radio-quality sound from Nowhere", catchy but meaningless. All the more important young, fresh artists like Alex Hepburn, who are able to make it sound a mainstream capable in itself very well pop album as if it has been processed their entire lives. Instead it is easy to make and just as Lana Del Rey and Duffy swim along on the debate initiated by Amy Winehouse wave of retro sound revolution, combined Alex Hepburn classic pop music with folk-rock and white-Soul. That's "refreshing" old-school and therefore for me already DAS pop album of the year 2013!
