The anthemic Electro / Synth Pop "Mirrors" rotates through the radio landscape and settles in particular in the German audience in mind. 10th place in the singles charts and the first comparisons with Lady Gaga go around. Not least by the striking video and stage outfits not entirely unfounded. "Perfectionist" provides replenishment at album length. And who has adapted to a one hit wonder, will be surprised by the quality of their debut. Already the opener "Wonderland" (simultaneously 2nd extraction) confirms the catchyness which with her songs sets the young Briton to days. Dark, yet engaging, it scores with danceable beats and catchy choruses. Influences from 80s New Wave, Euro Dance and contemporary electro pop noise function as winning a whole. "Break your hard" marched with a pulsating rhythm, followed by the number trancey Dark Pop "Zombie" before with "Love is a suicide," the next hymn is delivered. A touch of "Eurythmics" (Sweet Dreams) runs through the synthesizer background and united in response to the voice of Natalia. Something reduced (Not In Love), then rocking (Acid Annie) or at the end with "If I Was God" even ne pinch Nelly Furtado / Timbaland (Say It Right / All good things). Fortunately has will.i.am times not imposed in this case as superficial producer. Jeff Bhasker, Fernando Garibay and course Natalia Kills themselves have provided a meaty pop album that can be heard and seen.
