Easy to use entry-level device

I have for some years a Saeco fully automatic and am very happy with this. In the office we have a law. Accordingly, I am a bit spoiled when it comes to coffee making and even critical in the assessment of other devices.

For The Home Office, which is located here in a separate apartment, but I did not want a machine for a 4-digit amount, that would be really exaggerated. Accordingly excited we tested the Krups AE8105.

When unpacking and first installing next Saeco first noticed the difference in size. The Krups is a compact, small unit and with the white front also really smart, I like it very well visually.

Then comes the first minus point: a proper guidance is not there. Also included is a booklet full of little pictures on the Internet, there is no detailed operating instructions.
Well, it has to be "intuitive" So. If this works, it would actually yes again a plus point, but I have with technical equipment already like something in writing for future reference.

Water and beans are easy to fill, but the water tank is mounted behind the unit, which can be awkward depending on the environment if, for example, kitchen cabinets hanging about, you can take the tank bad and worse simply pour only water.
The container for the coffee grounds is left, so here you also need space for the removal.

Otherwise, the machine scores with little error possibilities - so many buttons it has not namely. Accordingly, of course you can not really vary much. In beans compartment can be adjusted, as roughly the beans should be ground, there are 3 levels.
The capacity can be varied by means of a rotary control from 20ml to 220ml.
Otherwise you have the choice between weak and strong coffee, which always there behind it for a setting, there are only 2 cup symbols of this to choose from.

It produces a good coffee, its taste naturally stands or falls as with any machine with the selection of the beans.
A little startled me at first the vapor rising to the top of the preparation of the machine - because the vents seem to be but connected to the collector, this is probably normal.

The coffee is not excessively hot out of the machine, but is without the addition of milk just drinkable.
Who, like me, like to add a big dash of milk tilts, but then only a lukewarm drink.
Here, however, helps the milk nozzle. During my Attaching the Extra milk tank is usually too annoying for my Saeco (it is also always something left, and also means a higher cleaning effort), one simply stops here the milk in the cup under the steam and can thus be either a nice foam Recycle or just heat the milk a little.

Overall, I think the Krups EA8105 fully automatic machine for a solid device the low to mid price range.
Personally, I can give him compared to a higher-value model abgewinnen not quite as much, but who has not this comparison would not spend a 4-digit amount or less emphasis on dozens of different settings on a rather complicated menu, which is right here.

Addendum: I have reviewed the machine, it was with a price of 550, - Euro awarded. Meanwhile, this was on 399, - Euro set down what I think is a really good deal on this device.
