Unboxing:
In the box is a charger with USB cable to Micro-USB, which has 2A Output. Furthermore, a warranty card, a Asus RMA card, a user guide and a card with license key for Office Home and Student version. Of course, the 10.1 "tablet and the Tastaturdock.
The Tastaturdock has fairly small keys, but after a short training you can therefore reasonably write (this review has arisen on the T100). It has a nice rubber bottom (feels like rubber coating but looks like plastic), on which one sees no fingerprints. Furthermore, the Tastaturdock has a USB 3.0 port on the left upper side. The retention mechanism holds the keyboard dock when that tablet and the dock is engaged well enough together so that nothing wobbles, let alone falls.
The tablet itself has a 10.1 "touch screen that is advertised here with 10 fingers, in my test in Paint but I have found that only 5 fingers are detected at the same time. Whether this is now on the software or hardware I do not know. To me it was, however, care less, as long as you do not 10 fingers for any strange gestures need that you will never use anyway. The back of the tablet looks at first glance very chic, but is as the front a truer fingerprint magnet. This I had eg to the iPad not so in memory. The tablet has when it is in the dock, right a Micro-HDMI output, and a Mircro USB input for charging the tablet. Furthermore are on the right a headphone jack and a micro SD card slot . View on the upper left side of the tablet standby Knof. is to the left we find a volume rocker and a back button which is very handy if you use the tablet without the dock.
Tablet:
I have the tablet in the 32GB version. Without any programs installed remain me 13GB memory on programs. The tablet has a new Intel Atom Bay Trail processor with 4 cores of up to 1.86GHz can be clocked. Furthermore, 2 GB of RAM installed. As far as I am aware, there is nothing more RAM disk exchange. Many people probably think that at some point during the normal work the 2GB Ram become a bottleneck. I have several tests done among other things, multiple browser tabs with YouTube HD videos, and could use liquid multitasking, and not notice any delays anyway. Course, if you want to use graphics / video editing on this tablet, it may well lead to bottlenecks. The battery has 2 cells with 31Wh and to keep up to 11 hours according to Asus. This I could not test because I have just been the first time fully charged him. Sound quality is compared with a Ipad as equivalent, and in my opinion much better than a Nexus 7 (old version) or Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Rear Stereo speakers are built, which emit the right and left at the edge of the tablet back. Bass of course you can not expect, but for a short listening session it was good enough from.

Keyboard:
The keyboard is already badly small side but as mentioned above, can also use it to write reasonably well after a short. The pressure point and the feel of the buttons are good though. The touchpad is also quite small, however, responded wonderfully.

Display:
The 10.1 "display is based on an IPS panel and has a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. I can not see any pixels, and the picture is really great. The display is thanks to the IPS panels have fairly stable and can angle from the side almost without Color changes can be viewed. In completely dark background I see with me at the top of 3-4 light spots that are not in normal operation but visible. The touchscreen has in my opinion, only 5 instead of 10 fingerprint recognition.
EDIT: I think Windows 8.1 (one probably only the 32bit version) can only process a maximum of 5 fingers simultaneously. It is therefore more of a software "bug".

WLAN: The reception of the wireless network in this form factor is really wonderful. Wherever my Galaxy S4 partly advance rödelt 20s until his Fritzbox 6360 once again gets a signal T100 plays flawlessly and without delays from even Full HD videos from Youtube. 5/5 stars
Battery: Charging via 2A microUSB takes quite a long time, just when the tablet is in use. A full charge without using I guess in about 3 hours. Will try it again exactly the day. The battery has held (Windows 8.1 medium to high brightness, always-Fi and some Radio / Stream, review on Amazon written etc.) after the first 100% charge 10 hours, with a remaining charge of 20%. The 11 hours are therefore in my opinion no problem at all.
Conclusion: All in all, the device is really a winning combination of tablet and large netbook. The performance is more than adequate for surfing the Internet, watching movies and doing the daily chores. As a constant companion for simple tasks of Asus T100TA is highly recommended.
