I discovered a rich and exciting world in this novel. Meg is a young woman who somehow could be considered a little Jodie Foster in Neil, she has everything to learn. Having seen the outside world only through videos, she sometimes knows how to behave and it is his heart, and so it follows that it will achieve the conquest of the Others.
The Others are many human side but they also have an animal side, which creates a very different way of thinking humans. The Other is therefore a name that suits them perfectly. And in the end their franchise is reassuring. Some even have aspects of big teddy bear.
Although this is the first volume of this series, I was captivated from beginning to end. I too have succumbed to the charm of Meg and I have only one desire: to learn more about this world that promises to be extraordinary. Usually the first volume suffers from some shortcomings due to the implementation of the universe but here I have not felt the effects.
We already knew the talent of Anne Bishop in a completely different but I must admit it does fly in this new genre. I saw that the next book came out in March 2015 and VO hopefully Bragelonne will soon translate it for us to enjoy.
It is with enthusiasm that I recommend this novel that I thoroughly enjoyed.
