I have a certain affinity to French music, albeit more for French Punk / Ska-style Skannibal Schmitt, La replica, Plastic Bertrand, and of course the superior power Bérurier Noir.
It does the thing also not detract from that I only really un petit peu am proficient when I reinziehen me such brilliant artists as Franz Yodelice.
Just to really reminds me 'Zaz' a little, even if I miss the certain melancholy and credibility 'Zaz' but in places.
Too often sounds this feel-good song for me a little too much like 'dap-dap-dadi lalala' but I can only say how their texts with the help of Leo.org or similar understand
So I get any profundities also not really.
What remains is a mostly very cheerful / sassy album a very talented woman with trumpet voice that proves a good nose for the melodies are catchy and yet easy jazzy.
Although certain similarities to the gypsy jazz of Django Reinhardt or Häns'sche White, however, make out to subtly assert them as an asset.
Unfortunately, the music rippling places something under his breath and threatening to topple into something inconsequential, but Zaz makes this weakness by her extraordinary vocal organ most up for it.
Conclusion: This album is certainly worth listening to, but not so extraordinary that it (for me) is the perennial favorite.
You can hear a little jazz here, a little gypsy exemplary there, a little folk rock but not here and then again, a little Lilly Allen and P! Nk is attending, orderly Sommerfeeling and a truly indescribable voice is in itself a reason this album . Buy All in all, however, loses the album halfway to effect because the arrangements but are quite uniformly and (at least I feel that way), it lacks a bit of 'eggs', ie a song that really rips really. Unfortunately, about 60% of the album seems a bit schnarchig.
But everything is a matter of taste and for friends rather gechillter Mucke this disc is really highly recommended, in the Poplandschaft is better than most other rubbish degree going on, that's here anyway. I hear but rather other French when it comes to this kind of music is (Yodelice !!!) and forgive therefore 'only' a limited buy recommendation!
I have long wondered whether this disc is worth 3 or 4 stars, but in the end the criticisms have helped but I have decided to use 3,
so please do not be mad love 'Zaz' fans it could also be 4. Well maybe next album ......
