Elemental!

The Testament of Sherlock Holmes is one of the few adventure games on the Playstation 3. After I got myself the previous parts of the PC, I was very surprised and pleased that the latest installment of the detective adventure will appear for Sony's console. I have so far spent a few hours with this game, and am so far but very enthusiastic. Part tricky riddles and exciting analysis of certain evidence make up a large part of the game. Also well recorded dialogue, the game offers. Of course, also sometimes very cynical humor of Sherlock Holmes can, including swipes on his faithful friend Dr. Watson, not missing.

The controls are on the whole very well managed, only in narrow passages, it came to me occasionally that the character "stuck". Of course you can play the game again, both in the third-person perspective as well as from the first person perspective. I personally like the latter better.

The graphics are certainly not so great as with other current PS3 games. Still, I find they have succeeded in the Victorian London looks really good. The light, water and fire effects look realistic. Only with the facial animations you would have put into stuff more. The sometimes dramatic music wears well in the quite gloomy atmosphere of the game.

By the way, it depends on my PS3 Slim (120GB, latest firmware 4.25) so far to no stuttering.

All in all you can "The Testament of Sherlock Holmes" So all fans of adventure games recommend. I did not regret buying!
