Looking for a simple Seniorenhandy I came across the company Emporia. After I had the Emporia V20ME ordered and tried, I found the operating concept for my father over 80IG years suitable. Unfortunately, the unit had quality defects. When unwinding I have become aware of the successor the Emporia Pure Großtastenhandy and have this ordered as a spare. The Emporia Pure now works as I had imagined. In principle, it is an easy to use mobile phone, which is also suitable for prepaid cards and thus meets all requirements from simple call my father. The keys are very large and illuminated. The display is now in color, slightly larger than the predecessor, simple, but legible. The font can be put on small or large. In addition to the charging cable, there is also a desktop charger, which is supplied. The phone is lightweight and portable. The keys have a good tactile feedback. You can write with the Emporia calling and texting. In addition, it has over its predecessor integrates an FM radio. The key division has maintained over its predecessor. The slide switch you have but replaced by push buttons, which are now working very well. On the front there is next to the numeric keypad, only the green call key to call and the caller list, the red handset button to hang up and as a back function and the middle button on the contact list. Everything else is on the left and right sides. On the left side is a pushbutton for the keypad, to control the volume plus / minus and the power button. On the right side there are 3 buttons: flashlight, menu and alarm clock. On the back there is an emergency call button. This is also admitted something. It is possible to set 5 emergency contacts. When a call not only to ring, but it also lights the torch and the green call button flashes. If you miss the call, this is indicated in the display and it also flashes the pound key. The charging status when on load can be seen in the display and on the star button lights up red or green. This division, I find it very good. I can adjust everything in advance (contacts, settings) and the senior no longer needs to deal with the side buttons and has only important for him buttons on the front and can thus (hopefully) easy call. If the phone is locked by the "Lock button", a picture of the "lock" button to indicate that you have to unlock the phone to use only appears when you press the green handset button on the display. It, if this notice when you press any key would appear on the front would be nice. Via the menu to get to the radio, where you can also save a channel list with frequency and station name. Even the battery cover was designed differently and can be opened now easy. Compared to the previous model, in my view, significant improvements carried out (push buttons, color and larger screen, battery cover, slightly recessed emergency button). As the phone is difficult to do with technology for the elderly, I would highly recommend this.
If you enjoyed or helped this review, I would be happy about an assessment very. Thank-You! :-)
