The biggest shortcoming of the player is certainly the lack Anschlussvielfalt- he has a Scart socket. That was it. Unfortunately, no Scart cable is included otherwise it would be a straightforward solution for owners of older televisions. An HDMI output would in any case have been very nice, as well as some form of sound outputs, be it digital or analog. In all that you have to give here. It can neither USB stick can be connected yet, the device has network capabilities. Who does not need all, just a simple player looking to DVDs via scart cable to for example a tube TV play but still accessible, but then needs to get the connection cable. The use as a CD player to a system unfortunately fails because of the lack of connections.
The power cord has fallen quite short. The remote control corresponds to what I know of other Sony devices and in my view is usable. Personally I would not buy the device but spend a little more and put on a more ports, BluRay and networking capabilities. DVD is a discontinued model and for me is the future no longer so much the media but the streamed content network.
Anyone who wants to operate a low player on an old television, but can still access.
