Epic Lego

Since nowadays, unfortunately fewer and fewer good games out there that also provide a split-screen mode, it has become a hobby of my friend and me to play the Lego games. All the more we were pleased that it has now managed the epic Tolkien trilogy in the Lego universe. I have the game now 100 percent through and think that I can summarize a few pros and cons points.

Pro:

-The atmosphere
At the very beginning of the game you are allowed to attend the Battle of Mount Doom. By the time Sauron zustapft on you makes you big eyes. Such epic moments in the game feel really great at.

Collectable
The collective factor is once again enormous. There's one busy a few hours, but it's like always fun.

-The Sound
It's just wonderful how the adventure is accompanied by the original soundtrack and the original sounds.

-The Synchronization
I'm pretty sure that Gollum and Legolas strikingly same dubbing voices have like in the movie. In the rest of the characters that is not the case, but I was pleasantly surprised. You quickly get used to it, because the speakers do a good job.

-Open World
Who does not dream to travel once it themselves through Middle Earth as a LOTR fan? In this game, that's possible, because here the story is told not only by level, but also through the travel from level to level. This comes just in LOTR naturally good.

-Own Characters
Although this is really nothing new that you may draw your own characters and stuck together are allowed to play with them, but just as in a game increases the definitely the RPG feeling.

-Nebenquests
To make the whole travel around a bit more interesting, there is even the characters are asking you to give them special things. Of course, you will get it also important rewards.

Contraindications:

-The graphic
The Lego games are not just for its cool graphics known, but of course need not be the case in a Lego game. Finally, here is anyway for the most part everything from blocks and stones. Yet a little more effort would have been commendable since. This often looks like on the PS2.

-The Scale
It is understandable that Middle-earth can not be made as large as it is described in the books. Then one would already need months to get from one end to another. But I was a little taken aback that I could see from the hill Minas Tirith, Isengard, Edoras and Helm's Deep. Since the beacons are really not necessary if you need less than one minute between these places back and herzureisen. The buildings are pretty puny. In most towers and houses not even Lego figures would fit.

-The humor
About Humor can be argued, therefore, I would not complain large. But this is about a dark fantasy epic and the characters can now unlike older Lego games and talk about what makes the whole more seriousness. Of course, I have adjusted to the Lego Humor and had to laugh now and then loud, but when Boromir is shot with banana sums you look only at the head.

-Nebenquests
Introduce the side quests I was a great idea, but the quests themselves are really a joke. Are they well be, but I think the rather negative. For example, a Hobbit-wife complained that her husband has once again lost the house key when he was dependent with a buddy in the Mines of Moria. I beg your pardon?! The man should even read the book when he appears! Hobbits go never actually traveling and erstrecht sure do not go in the Mines of Moria depend! But you are right: It is a Lego game. But I think that soon come to better ideas and small LOTR fans.

-Einzelspieler
Of course I have not played the game even now and then with my friend, but alone. This can really be an ordeal. Here's an example: You want me to climb a tower. There are several climbs, so I have to switch between characters. Unfortunately, the character selection is if I want to move to the second player who accompanies on the button that I express myself well. The only difference is that I have to hold to tap instead only. But the game does not always get it. So I'm almost on top of the tower, will switch to Legolas, switch instead to Sam standing below. I switch back and in time the other character has already fallen from the tower.

-Own Characters
To make characters is a great idea, but it was poorly implemented as many Lego games. Even if you bought all the characters you have for example, only a handful of hair styles. The menu for editing is unnecessarily confusing. Could one not even introduce tables?

-Mithril
The most valuable in this game are Mithrilsteine. From them can you let things forge that must bring their characters to complete the side quests. For example Mithril dancing shoes. Repeat -Story

Now I have more negative than positive facts, so why 4 stars? Many of these negative things are my only noticed since I've played the game really intense. So do not worry. I can really recommend the game, because the fun content is huge and at the price it has become one makes nothing wrong. I had really build like a couple of LOTR-Lego sets (But I am not fell for it.
