Following is a brief explanation for newcomers what to expect in the MH Series:
The gameplay is roughly "only" from missions in which it primarily comes to hunt a big monster. Who now thinks of current targets, joyfully waiting with a combo fireworks a la "Devil May Cry" to be zerbolzt who will hard nut to crack at MH. Every fight is a test of your own abilities as knowledge, tactics, skill and timing - and the monster forgive any mistakes. The combat animations of individual strokes take time and you need to know if you can strike again, or rather should dodge / block.
In addition, there are many different types of weapons all of which have their pros and cons as well as individual playing styles.
But the monsters are not the only challenge, now and enjoy many different areas it (per quest only an area divided into about 10 freely accessible sections) to be explored to abandoned to their quantities of items and treasures. Until you even know where you hernimmt its resources does it take to his time.
The story is nice, but not exceptional. Final Fantasy fans will not come at their expense, the fascination and love for the series comes but from another angle:
The multiplayer! It is not just a bit daddeln with friends, during a hunt, it actually feels like real work and the sense of community is great!
Large but: You should definitely get 1 additional person on board, because only the fun is only half as large.
So if you a high frustration limit, a strong will and optimally have an equally enthusiastic colleagues, then on the hunt!
