Yes criticism of Rome 2 at the beginning was justified. But here was the enormous potential, actually the best part of the series to be visible. Now (unfortunately very late) runs it as it needs to run. Performance: very good despite enormous computation effort per round, the graphics in the campaign / on the battle map: impressive (some battle maps could more details tolerated, settlements could differ even more), the tactical depth: once, formally inferior groups can be performed with the right strategy for victory, fractions play very differently; What can be better? As before, the policy system: slightly more developed, but still unripe and sterile; KI: significantly improved on battle map, but still with serious mistakes on the campaign map.
