Proved with this soundtrack Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy (including Dil Chahta Hai, Mission Kashmir and in the last year, among others Kyun! Ho Gaya Na) once more that they are among the best. The theme song of the movie is the perfect blend of a large sad-melancholic film music and cheerful laissez-faire .... and all with an Indian touch. The text is wonderfully poetic, and is virtually predestined for a perfect cinematic realization. Probably the best songs on the album for me, however, once the fast dance number "Mahi Ve" (This beat has simply carried away !!!) and the Punjabi-cover version of Pretty Woman. "Kuch To Hua Hai" is a cute number about love. But not necessarily world-class. Just as the disco number "It's the time to disco". Although even this rather weak song eventually goes into the ear). The last two songs on the album, the title track and the Sadversion "Heartbeat" are wonderfully sad songs in which I cry not only in the film. The former is characterized mainly by its traditional sounds. In zweiterem you just have to (if you have already seen the film) only think of the last unspeakably sad 15 minutes of the film. Definitely MY Soundtrack 2003 !!!
