- Mach 3
- Fusion Power
- Proglide
- Proglide Power
Old Fusion Power was the worst of all. With him I had the biggest problems with redness and Hautirretationen.
All remaining are exactly the same of the thoroughness. They differ only in 3 points: processing, durability of the blade, how gentle is shaving.
Processing:
Here the Mach3 has his nose just ahead. He is not such a cheap plastic. For the ProGlide power rests with me but by the many rubber clearly in the best hands. And this is crucial for me. The normal Proglide has the look here.
Durability of blades:
Here's the big advantage of the Proglide blades (both with and without power). They really keep much longer. To put it in comparison: A Proglide blade holds roughly as long as 2.5 Mach3 blades.
"Sanfheit":
Here came the wow factor. The normal Proglide is gentle only with longer hair. The Proglide Power makes here again a significant leap. I had initially look again whether I've shaved. The shaving is really incredible gently. That is the only razor in which I (even if they also were only slightly during normal Proglide) after shaving no redness or had similar.
Conclusion:
Or rather the question; well worth the extra cost from Mach3 to Proglide Power?
YES. Not to Proglide but for Proglide Power. The blades cost here about three times. But for this they also hold about 2.5 times as long and are really significantly gentler. It is worthwhile but only because they hold just as long. Whether I often buy Mach3 blades or less the Proglide Power with better performance, evens out. Therefore, it is worth.
