Every step counts (GE)

Until recently, I had a bracelet for counting the steps. Unfortunately, this had the side effect that other arm movements were counted. In direct comparison with the Omron bracelet counted about 3000 steps a day more.
What I liked a lot the settings, such as the step length, etc. So you have at least the feeling that the distance shown halfway accurate. I looked at the pedometer while walking times and counting. That seems to be pretty accurate.

You can view the statistics using the integrated USB connection. What I do not understand here is that you must register yourself first. What for? Why must I leave my footprints on the net anywhere? It would certainly be nice to store the data on the computer and look at an evaluation. But for that I must not send to the company, so what happens otherwise my personal information.
In addition, the software is obviously not intended for Mac users. So I can start anything with it.

Too bad. So I count my steps in front of me and I am glad the evening when I had more than the day before.
