Customer Review

"Death Cab For Cutie" stand for music that touches the heart, timeless moments describes and amorous people still in love can look into my eyes. On the one hand the ability of frontman and head Benjamin Gibbard, on the other hand a US television series called "The OC" owe that gave the often quiet tones wide hearing. "The OC" has gone, the band from Washington has remained. With the success of her album "Transatlanticism", which is still published on the indie label Barsuk Records, came the major deal with Atlantic Records. The success has never been planned, rather, Gibbard even took time out repeatedly to operate, among other things in addition to projects like "The Postal Service" to. "Plan" was released in 2005 and subsequently waited not only Americans, but also throughout Europe Indie eagerly for new material of Emorocker.

"Narrow Stairs" is characterized by dreamy moments. Melancholic nice, sometimes dark and always provided with comforting rays of sunshine. Ironically, this "No Sunlight" even the most cheerful song on the album. This song would also older "Jimmy Eat World" Submissions good standing. "Long Division" also takes on a little more pace and would as a warm up work in any alternative club. "Your new twin sized bed" thanks to its relaxed pace to a relaxed Sunday morning, in which one follows the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and it makes yourself comfortable with someone special at the breakfast table. But what it was faced with the predecessor in its infancy, is now continued to live contrary to many expectations. It has not to be crushed by the mills of the mainstream and performance-hungry radio music and be a lot more incorporated an offbeat, almost progressive touch to the music. Evidence that 8 minute œ "I will possess your heart" that complex builds during its term and constantly reinventing itself. Virtuoso instrumental in the work, feeling full and frame to put pieces like "Talking Bird" or "You can do better than me" like a warm blanket on the handset. A densely atmospheric and exciting indie album, which demanded a great deal, but also has a lot to give.
