The book was an impulse purchase and two nights with little sleep but given me a lot of reading pleasure. The neurotic Don describes pointedly and frankly can probably everyone in the back will find one or the other "everyday Macke", which makes up the personality of Don. The book is read superficially light food with entertainment value. Reading between the lines but stuck subtle allusions to the normal single-madness with the pursuit of perfectionism and selfishness - even in the choice of partner. I was excited to think about the book: Is it possible to be so "angular" how to be, you have to bend for others, others must bend to fit into one's scheme?
