Not a single sensible crime scene description. No pages about how one might approach the offender. The actual investigation is limited to about scattered the entire concoction about 20 pages and to the questioning of fellow relatives of those murdered with almost always the same sly question: "Do you know anything unusual noticed?"
No wonder that after 550 pages do not even have any idea of which area the offender could the victims. It is thought only that this your tormentors might have known. The solution of the "case" hits the reader to the last 20 pages in a flash by the surprising discovery that all the victims lived in the same boarding school, which the offender is immediately exposed.
A publisher of dime novels would not have bought this stuff, because in such a tacking on 60 pages and what needs to happen. The substance of "Hard Girls" is not enough for 20 pages. The rest is the sheer impudence to the reader. The crown of impudence is the bonus material of the book in the form of an interview to me the author. As if anyone would be interested after reading this nonsense yet where and when Mrs. Cole concocted such nonsense and what she eats and drinks here.
600 pages hogwash. But there's 5 of 5 trash and put it in such a with this crap. Shame about the paper.
