So I have this morning - on the last day of the year - again listened to all my notes and quickly much again made me aware of what I would have but long forgotten.
The DP-311 course also has the advantage that I have very compact large amounts of data in one device and can take with anywhere.
Highlight is the superb quality of the microphone and especially the speaker playback! ME is this quality the best ever by all Olympus dictation devices! (I know some ...) So even shooting at larger events succeed surprisingly well.
Because the device has no folder, but only chronologically receives consecutively, I use for capturing thoughts of different types in parallel with a voice recorder folders where I can hold my thoughts to factual affiliation. - Both devices complement each other extremely well. Often I refer to the points in the other location.
As well, the calendar function has proven: with it you can find fast to certain recordings in the past.
Finally there is also the possibility to make for the future lies in daily notes, which is often quite useful. However, there is no alarm situation here. But if you speak constantly with the device lives, then this feature is very helpful.
I first had the DP-211, however, has only 100 hours of recording time and in which there is no possibility, easy to insert a new card. The microphone and speaker quality, however, is as good as the DP-311 - with a slightly lower size of the device.
The DP-311 is PC-compatible. But it must also not be for my needs, for my own private diary notes I would not even have stored on your PC. (If I run handwritten diary, I have also not on the PC. I do not understand the complaints regarding the PC compatibility often quite, because who ever really needs his shots because on the PC ???)
As phonetic diary this device is an excellent, and I do not want to miss! -
Who factual sorting / assignment (see above) needs should choose a device with multiple folders, since it for this purpose can be very confusing for the DP-311 otherwise.
