This is the sixth disk drive of this type that I use and I admit that so far I have no complaints.
However the life of a hard drive of this type and of course depending on its use may not exceed 8 years.
My advice to those who back up large volumes of double save their data because if something goes wrong on a disk there is always a clone in reserve.
