I read this novel before Damasio Horde brace, his most famous novel, novel I have just started, but which I find it harder to hang on for now. Although reading is sometimes a bit harsh, Damasio plays admirably well with the words to better play our senses and our emotions. This book depicts a consumer society and individuals management of such complexity that it becomes virtually impossible to combat it. on the contrary, the battle front that ultimately strengthen its hold on the individual, in that it uses its combat and its consequences as a source of new information that will help to better stabilize the system by providing the necessary changes. which is scary in a sense, visionary, looking good is that we are already in a society that is making major strides in this direction. it poses essential questions: From when is freedom of expression a decoy? Is the return to a more anarchic system desirable? What would be the consequences? I therefore strongly recommend this book with "The foundation cycle", "Mister Vertigo" or more recently "The cycle domes" is a novel that I liked the most this year.
