I wanted to discover the novels of Terry Goodkind after following the TV series that inspired in (series I loved the way and that I regret the decision, but that is not the issue today ' hui). I had good reason to follow my instinct! I devoured the first five books and am currently in the middle of this volume one. I do not know how the author manages to keep us in suspense since 'all the time' but he succeeds perfectly. It's true that some passages can be quite long at times but it does not detract from the strength of the work as a whole. In addition, Terry Goodkind often gives us a realistic picture of our society, unfortunately, which must lead us to reflect on many issues in the world of yesterday, today and tomorrow necessarily.
We quickly took a liking to the characters, much more complex than might at first think.
In short, a saga recommend IMHO. I'm excited about the future!
