After I already had good experience with other prime lenses, I wanted to buy myself a telephoto lens that was brighter than my previous zoom (18-200mm Nikon) and even sharper. Both meets this lens in any case. I was only a little skeptical, because a stabilizer is missing. Focusing so requires a bit of practice, for lower shutter speeds recommend a tripod.
Nevertheless, the objective for available-light shooting, but also for nature shots - see the adjusted image of swans - a very good choice for me and definitely an excellent addition to the 50mm and 85mm. The exemption at 2.8 is a stunner. What I find very pleasant, is the weight that is easier than is assumed, the camera is to be good in the hand. The workmanship is very good, excellent quality of the lenses; the slide hood Personally I like better than the usual screw-lens hoods of the newer lenses Niko. At my D7100 autofocus is fast and accurate.
Although the lens is older, I would buy again experience to date at all times. I must say that I have acquired it in a hand almost as a collector state to be designated conservation degree.
