Well .... As for the value for money with respect. The specifications, etc., I know myself bad, oriented myself up to other reviews, and I hope that the total is okay.
What I like:
- The design is light and narrow.
- The laptop is very quiet (- that was very important to me).
- The keyboard is fine; I like it better when the keys are not as soft as butter, but have some resistance, and I get along quite well with it.
- The laptop does not heat up noticeably.
What I am not so enthusiastic:
Unfortunately, the laptop comes with Windows 8.1, which is imho a complete disaster. (I'm really stunned that people were paid with real money for the development ... instead fired. ;-) I'm not computer illiterate egtl, but I felt like ne 80th grandmother who NEN for the first time in their lives to use computers. Without Words.)
Unfortunately I have some difficulties with the laptop and can not say whether this is due to any stupid Windows settings or the brand Asus (I had never) or to this model specifically this:
- The colors look different in different browsers, and some * very * disturbing distorted with extreme yellow tinge. Have tried to correct the color settings on the monitor, well, with something I had never before * * deal in any other laptop.
- The touchpad is extremely slow, perhaps registered 2, not more than 3 clicks per second. The rest is simply not counted. I still do not get out, which I now have to change again.
Otherwise bothers me that the power cord is much shorter than I know it from other laptops here.
And the color (red) is also definitely not bordeaux as in the photo, but rather bright red.
And well, wg Windows 8 can not even hold that thing play a DVD when you reinsteckt ...... oO So Real! Had me for install VLC. If yes ok, but somehow also extremely annoying, especially when you just do not expect so. Oh, and McAfee antivirus is enabled by default, I did not even have the option to get around (the * trial * of course). In any case seen to have nothing, even though I realize then held out. Now I have to google how I can uninstall it completely even, ugh ....... Oh, and irgendso a "spell check" which meant that in my English texts (Gmail, Facebook) ever any incidental words were automatically capitalized, which looked so ridiculous and not even somehow made sense ..... I did not know why that was - had then traced it with a lot of Googling on Windows and can leave.
So overall I have this laptop felt endless rumdoktorn much, and I have it egtl really no desire and I never had to do with previous laptop too! Can as I said not quite appreciate how much of it is due solely to that stupid Windows or on the model. But my customer satisfaction is - either way - in any case significantly affects them !! : - /
