Exotic, dark and scary

Vampires, werewolves, witches and ghosts, there were already GRSUELKABINETT frequently, but it had only 81 episodes go by until finally allowed a zombie occur. This is also and above all the fact that there are hardly any classic literature on the living dead. With the cannibal hordes that A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead populate the screens since George, Henry S. Whitehead Zombie has nothing to do. In the present radio play it's more about the original, native to the Caribbean variant. There lived and worked Henry S. Whitehead, incidentally, for eight years as a pastor and discovered plenty of suggestions to deal with the fantastical. Between 1921 and 1929 Whitehead archdeacon in the Virgin Islands, where he had to deal also for professional reasons with the voodoo cult. His short stories published 1922-1932 in the journal Weird Tales. After his death in 1932 they were published in two volumes: Jumbee (1944) and West India Lights (1946).
From the former comes also one of the stories that are based on this radio play because Marc Group has indeed interwoven two short stories into a narrative. This is not difficult to recognize because Jaffray Da Silva his friend Granville Lee first told an eerie but quite harmless Testimony, in the radio play Legend Dagmar von Kurmin, Titania co-founder Stephan Bosenius and Julia Stoepel are the way to hear as a hanging zombies.
All the more darker and scarier is the main story Cassius in which Granville Lee and Brutus Hellmann have to deal with a bloodthirsty, sinister creature that has, however, as little to do with the classic zombies as Romero's creations. Although it in stories in which the protagonist is also the narrator, experience has shown that a little lasts until the action gets going, the tension rises steadily, culminating in a thrilling final with a truly bizarre and imaginative plot. With Gerd Holtenau and Mogens of Gadow, two veteran actors, the main roles are optimally staffed. Fabian Oscar Wien provides as Brutus Hellmann from a theatrical tour de force and with Eckart Dux and Jürgen Thormann are two more radio play and sync legends represented. Of course music and sounds are also in this episode ideal for setting. The zombie is one with its exotic locale and the original plot of the most unusual contributions of GRUSEKABINETTS and is certainly a little highlight.
