Expensive because short-lived! Inadequate processing + cheap materials make this machine for short-lived disposable product

After 2 years and 2 months it's over. Hardly any bread a week I cut into my 1-person household. Cutting a loaf of bread costs with this machine, therefore, 1 = sometimes more than the bread itself! Too bad that you can not upload photos here because the exterior of the machine is quite attractive and looks very solid. Unfortunately, obscures the inner workings of a cheap. Poor materials can be seen, unfortunately, until they crumble. Not everything crumbles with this machine, but sound is different. That's the problem with this machine.

Solid because of metal, you think '... Wrong! After unpacking you realize immediately that the weak leadership will hardly be capable of cutting salami. Even the slightest pressure they are after. I tried it with hard cheese once. No chance to get thin slices ...

Now for the KO criterion: half the machine is made of plastic. Including the slice thickness adjustable. Plastic is a priori not bad. But if it's cheap and thin, then that becomes a problem. The metal screw that bores into the plastic knob is there simply a 1mm thick plastic thread! Amazing really that has ever held.

From purchasing this machine I can only strongly advise against. It is suitable only for cutting bread and conditionally well thin to cut to other soft materials, where it does not depend on. This is already annoying. But by the short life, this machine is simply too expensive. That's more than annoying.

Because of the 'made in Germany' advertisement here that stands for good quality, and this suggests, I have roused me to write this report so that everyone knows what is really selling here.
