Installation and Commissioning:
One should build the unit for two, already due to the sheer size. Diverse Setup Wizard (DVB-T, WLAN) make commissioning easy
Image (2D / 3D, Blue Ray, DVB-T): 5/5
Extensive as in some technical discussion forums run the first: you should not be irritated them, because in spite of the price issue here is still a consumer device! EIZO High End CAD LEDs can easily cost the same from just 24 inches! I have to show me some sample images on the spot and at home again tested. Who will look carefully illumination problems, etc., but these are in the moving image unrecognizable.
I use the drive via BDWise (Samsung own procedure) with a Samsung BD player - The quality shall be assessed as excellent, the 3-D effect was rated far much better than the cinema of each as.
The built-in DBV-T receiver delivers a better picture than my external Technisat Digipal, which is actually pretty good. However, PAL is the size of television clearly challenged the Samsung plentiful - but look for pure television makes the device also does not make sense.
Picture (PC): 5/5
Connected using the DVI to HMDI adapter - First of all: to experience the interplay PC via HDMI seems some people trouble, so also with me. The signal was gone at once and not restore - that seems to be common in all kinds of devices (even non-Samsung)! A restart with off my Power Saving of the display has managed this situation.
The image itself is impeccable, except for slight convergence problems (graphics card problem ?!) in HD mode - I use but for readability 1600x900 without problems. 3D with eg Crysis 3 is the way outstanding - Game Mode (latency!) Switch on Do not forget! For the desktop mode you should switch the image from "standard" to "entertainment". Sound is transmitted via HDMI!
Sound:
Not rated, since I use a 7.1 system with a corresponding external receiver (12 Kg). That should not be the task of the (super thin) TV. The built-in speakers, however, are standard television mE sufficient.
Features (Apps, Camera, WLAN, connections, etc.): (5/5)
The features are so extensive, that is beyond the scope description. But if you want to use, for example, well-known streaming platforms via a browser can do that and they admire the 65-inch display. Highlights:
- Skype MD built-in camera
-. Connection of external USB drives / hard drives for recording or to play v AVI / MKV files (also 3D!)
- The TV can be used as a WLAN access point / amplifier eg for iPads / laptops use
- IPad app that serves as a remote control and Mirror for the TV picture via WLAN
- Private AppStore
- WPS will support
- DNLA support
- Connection of 3D cameras via HDMI
Negative points:
- Built-in program guide (there are two) are somewhat hakelig / unstable
- Performance is sometimes weak (browser, PIP), a stronger processor would be good
- He forgets the WLAN key when switching between two routers
- The frame is slightly thicker than in the smaller units (eg, 55 ")
Overall, an excellent device that I can highly recommend if you have appropriate space.
